New year, new play
Submitted by Palmito on March 1, 2007 - 9:17am.I am currently in a writing workshop with Just Theatre, and we wil be having a play reading of the plays the writers have worked on in a few weeks. I've spent the last few months producing the first draft of my new play, which is currently (unoriginally) titled A Dream of a Courtyard. (The other two plays are Tim Bauer's What We Know Now and Liz Lisle's Matterless Fact).
Season of Creativity
Submitted by Palmito on November 7, 2006 - 4:15pm.I'm gearing up for a busy season of creation this winter. It started with the Balé Tech drum corps - now dubbed Orkest Asfalto - drumming along with the procession at Day of the Dead.
Introductions: Christine Young
Submitted by Palmito on November 7, 2005 - 11:49am.I don't remember the I first time I met Christine. She knew me through plays I submitted to the Bay Area Playwrights Foundation, but I don't remember the first time meeting her. We would run into each other regularly but infrequently over the last five years, and every time get a little deeper into the discussions about what moved and inspired us as artists.
