Santero
Santero is a great local musical version of the kind of traditional and urban cultural mixing Balé Techlorico likes to explore. Santero's lead performer Erick and I were in a previous incarnation of the band together (along with some of Los Nadies), where I learned a huge amount about performance, music and the spirit world. That experience reinforced my conception of how modern urban and traditional cultural modes of expression can work together and influence each other.
And if that's too heady, just listen to the music.
