The list below is primarily composed of people who participated in Balé Techlorico, the multi-disciplinary performance group. (A different ensemble now exists for the drum corps, Orkest Asfalto.)

Since people still visit these pages looking for information on these amazing artists, it should be noted:  The information on this page was current only until Balé Techlorico's last performance, at the SF Theatre Festival in July 2006 (and some info is even older).

 

Christine Young

Bio: Christine Young is a director and dramaturg (and proud mother of Gabriel), whose passion is developing new work for the stage. Recent projects include: Executive Order 9066 with Lunatique Fantastique (for whom she is also resident dramaturg), a tale about the internment of Japanese Americans told through object-puppetry; Smoke x 7, a new opera composed by Joshua Brody and co-authored by Erik Ehn and members of the Tenderloin Opera Company, and

Daveed Diggs

Bio:
Daveed Diggs is a Bay Area native who got his BA in Theater Arts from Brown University in 2004.  Recent credits include Theater in the Woods’ The Ives of March (Chuck III and Bill), Custom Made Theater Company’s Temptation (Foustka) and Holes at the Orpheum (Armpit/Sam).   In May 2005, he presented a workshop performance of excerpts from his play

Parker Leventer

Bio:
Sarah Parker Leventer most recently performed in Eat Cake in the Bathroom and Skool'd, a double bill which included aerial dance, physical comedy, and live music.  Parker had the honor of playing Sir Toby Belch in FoolsFury's Twelfth Night last summer.  She has performed with Eat Cake Productions throughout this year, and has also worked with Magic Theatre, Cutting Ball Theatre, Woma
