Theatre of Yugen

Theatre of Yugen is close to my heart for several reasons.  First and foremost, the people there are incredibly talented, incredibly generous, and incredibly humble. (I was fortunate to be part of Theatre of Yugen's Old Man and the Sea in the spring of 2005.)  In addition, they explore and expand the boundaries of  traditional performance forms (in this case, Noh and Kyogen) to create a profound new theatre rooted in specific theatrical training.
