Balé Techlorico started as a multi-disciplinary ensemble blending traditional, folkloric performance forms with contemporary urban sensibilities. The performance group no longer exists.
Balé Techlorico's first performance was Future Folkloric at the 2004 SF Fringe Festival; since then it has appeared in festivals and showcases, and was awarded a 2005 Shotgun Lab residency to produce Cry Don't Cry.
